Accessibility statement
Last updated: 29 October 2026
This statement covers the Walters Sentinel website (walterssentinel.com), the account hub and dashboards, every service, and the pages our customers share with others, such as booking, signing, form and status pages.
Our aim
We want everyone to be able to use Walters Sentinel, including people who use a screen reader, magnification, voice control or a keyboard alone. We work to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
Where we are
The service is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA. We have not yet had an independent accessibility audit, so we do not claim full conformance. When we have one, we will publish its date and findings here.
When we build and change pages, these are the rules we work to:
- use proper headings, labels and buttons, so assistive technology can tell what each part of a page is
- make every control usable with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline
- keep text readable when zoomed to 200%, and pages usable on a phone
- respect the setting for reduced motion
- never use colour alone to show a status: a word or symbol goes with it
What we are reviewing first
These are the parts most likely to be hard to use, so they come first in our review: charts and graphs, the Forms builder, signing a document, and the visitor sign-in screen on a tablet. We will list any problem we find here, with what we are doing about it and when, and remove it once fixed.
Tell us about a problem
If something is hard to use, or you need information in another format, write to contact@walterssentinel.com. Say which page and what happened. A person will reply within 5 working days, and if we cannot fix it quickly we will find another way to get you what you need.
If you are buying for a public sector organisation and need our position on a particular WCAG criterion, ask and we will answer it in writing.
