Uptime and alerting
Monitoring
Know your website is down before your customers do.
What it does
- Checks uptime, SSL certificates, domain expiry, DNS records and email authentication, on the interval your plan allows.
- A failure is confirmed before anybody is woken: a monitor has to fail a set number of checks in a row before an alert is sent.
- Alerts reach a distribution list rather than one person, and can escalate to a second list after a number of minutes if nobody has acted.
- Quiet hours are kept in your own timezone, so overnight alerts hold until morning without anyone changing a clock.
- Alerts can also go to Slack, Teams or any webhook, and by SMS.
- Scheduled maintenance windows suppress alerts without stopping the checks, so a planned deploy does not page anyone while the history stays honest.
